Ah, the march of time. Where every other airline is packing their planes with new technology to keep passengers distracted (and quiet) during flights, AA has been busy disconnecting in-flight telephone service. Maybe all those calls from hijacked 9/11 planes were too disconcerting.




Chicago is not that far from Toronto and the flight was actually quite pleasant, especially the view.




Apologies for the shaky camerawork but I was really struck by the 'carpet of lights' effect caused by the dense yet regimented urbanization of Chicago.




We arrived in Chicago on time (AA 2, other airlines 0) and I had a brief stay in what is a reasonably nice airport with absolutely nothing to do.
