Later that day we headed south on I5 towards Oregon. At some point we passed this, uh, landmark. I wish I could remember exactly where it was, so I could find out exactly what it is, and therefore make some kind of pointed joke about it.

We stopped for supplies in Vancouver, Washington, just before crossing into Oregon and our first stop on the road trip: Portland. We wanted a cooler to keep lunch foods in the car, so we stopped at Wal-Mart. We knew it would sell alcohol, but the surprise was the pricing. Yellow Tail is not exactly the finest wine, but at less than half the price than what we'd see at an Ontario liquor store (including currency exchange), we were tempted to get some anyway.
