The next morning, our last of the trip, we went to see our friend Kajal. Morgan kicks back with some juice in her kitchen.

It was time for Kajal to head to work, so we took a group shot and headed on our way.




After years of driving in Toronto, I would not say that it is any worse in Seattle or LA, the two cities where our travel guides warned us of fire and brimstone behind the wheel. The fact is, if you can handle driving in Toronto, you can handle it in LA. Our GPS, however, was somewhat flummoxed by our lack of progress!




We had a bit of time before we needed to get to the airport, so we headed up to the Griffith Observatory.




From this vantage point, it's easy to see the thick strata of smog that sits over Los Angeles.
