Paris! We took a train into the city from Charles de Gaulle and quickly found our hotel, conveniently located within walking distance of almost all the major sights, without being too outrageously expensive. After dropping our bags, we hit the street in search of baguettes.




I was impressed by the laissez-faire approach to parking in Paris, including this woman's selection of the middle of the street corner to leave her station wagon.




I didn't think basketball was a big deal in France. Maybe I was wrong.




I like this photo because not only does it have someone taking a photo (which you'll see next), but also someone who's just taken a photo and is trying to decide if he should try to take another one, this time without an obnoxious Canadian tourist blocking the view.
