Although it was raining, quite a few spectators had converged on a spot in the fence where you can pull over at the side of the road and see the car running on the track.

The water on the track made for a big rooster-tail effect.

This was the best shot I could get through the fence. We had Evan's help later in identifying it as a late 90s model being driven by a "customer" (read: super rich guy who owns a car he can't even start up without a small crew of mechanics on hand).

Having seen (and heard) the car relatively close by, we got back in the car and headed to a mall near Modena.
