We flew into La Guardia, a much smaller, more compact airport than JFK. This was looking back towards Manhattan as we taxied in. I ended up spending about five hours there and I have to say it's not as bad as people make it out to be. It certainly had the nicest bathrooms of any airport I've been in (including my subsequent trip to Europe).

This billboard in the airport made me smile.

There were a lot of people in LaGuardia against their will - the snow of the day before had cancelled a lot of flights and caused huge delays. So much so that the local news was out in full force to do live reports on how things had calmed down the next day (not a lot, given the delays I experienced - but at least I was making it out of there on the same day I arrived). The thing about this particular news crew is that I swear I recognized the reporter. I just can't figure out why or from where.

At long last I was on my way back to Toronto. This shot kind of captured the theme of the trip for me: lots of air travel and lots of looking out the window.
And that's pretty much it.
