From the restaurant parking lot you could see the lights to the south of Santa Monica and beyond along the coastline.




So we went to the Santa Monica Pier and had a look around.




I find nighttime photography amid strong points of light is a strength for my camera.




There is a ferris wheel on the pier but there didn't seem to be anyone on it.
