I was the one with the camera, so 95% of the pictures were of James. We stopped to take one of me before going in for the game. Spot the newly acquired Blue Jackets t-shirt, paired with my Team Canada cap.




They have a nice, new (circa 2000) arena in Columbus, with big open spaces and lots of light. Unlike at the Igloo, I didn't find myself wondering how many people would die in a fire.




The Blue Jackets fire off this canon at the start of the game, and any time the home team scores. If you're small and cute enough, you can make your daddy pay for a photo of you standing next to it.




The teams were still warming up as we walked down to our seats. Unlike in Pittsburgh, we had great seats for this game.
