[ Check-in ]

At the airport, I was disappointed to see (after a brief forray through the freakin' parking garage again!) a lot of people lined up to check in for their flights. But it turns out that Northwest's counter (top) was a lot less busy than Delta's (above). Plus, Northwest has electronic check-in kiosks like Air Canada does, which makes it that much faster.

[ In-flight food ]

Breakfast on the flight was surprisingly similar to real food. I've never seen a milk carton that small before though. It was purely for cereal purposes.

[ Weather in Detroit ]

When I changed planes in Detroit, the weather was looking pretty spotty. You'd never know it, but this was late afternoon. I kind of liked the streaks of sunlight peeking through on the horizon, but I had a feeling we were in for some bumpy air going to Toronto....

[ Cloud sandwich ]

...Which was basically what happened. Coming into Toronto, we had to come down through layers of clouds sandwiched together on a weather front. It made the ride in lots more fun! (Your definition of 'fun' may vary.)

And that's pretty much it.
