They make up for their shoddy signmaking skills with a rather stunning waterfall. The hotel from the TV show at the top there is run like a day spa now I think. The view is stupendous but there was not a doughnut to be had anywhere!

OK, you know the town is small when this is considered rush-hour traffic.

After this I did a lot more toodling around on highways near Seattle and Puyallup. Two of my favourite highway signs were seen at this point: "Want to litter? Fine." And "Volcano Evacuation Route"

If only I'd been able to get pictures, but that's what you get for being the driver and navigator at the same time... Oh, and how the heck are you supposed to pronounce Puyallup, anyway?
