Guy Fawkes Night is supposed to be celebrated Nov 5 with fireworks. It seemed from our casual observation that the fireworks continue randomly through an entire week, serving as a general excuse to fire things up into the air and/or burn things on the ground. We spotted these ones from the back yard at Cat and Evan's house on the night of the 5th, though we clearly saw and heard others on other nights.




The next day we went on another afternoon trip, this time to see Blenheim Palace.




Blenheim Palace is the home of the Duke of Marlborough and a world heritage site.




Milo enjoyed running around on the steps of the palace. We enjoyed this sequence where he realized I was off to the side and came to say hello. "There it is!"
