Cruising down the main drag in Lillooet, in search of lunch. Surrounded by mountains, it's very picturesque. And tiny. Hopelessly tiny.




A great example of the kinds of scenery on Highway 99: mountaintops, trees and blind corners. This view is atypical in one way, however: it has a barrier to keep you from driving off the cliff. Most parts didn't.




The tricky group shot, with the winding road snaking along the side of the steep cliffs at left. Notice - no barriers!




We came across a large number of cars (itself notable on this middle-of-nowhere road) and decided to stop and see what they were all looking at.
