[ Submarine ]

For no clear reason at all, there was also an old Russian submarine docked next to the Queen Mary. There were tours, but the list of people who couldn't take the tour due to the tight confines and gross violations of building code within means that probably no one actually gets to go on a tour. You couldn't be tall, short, pregnant, with children, thinking of having children, etc. As an aside, I wonder if this is the same submarine that used to be docked in St. Petersburg until they noticed that nobody would pay to get on it.

[ Rivets ]

Taking a closer look at the side of the Queen Mary, it's easier to understand how sideswiping an iceberg might cause some problems. All those rivets would right off, I would imagine. On the other hand, it does make the ship look like it was made from Lego.

I took another bunch of photos to form my first ever vertical panorama.
