Pretty self-explanatory, I'd say.




Just down the path and across the river from Parliament is a small plaque set in a wall honouring the (presumably nearby) birthplace of Colonel John By, founder of Ottawa. I guess the Historical Society of Ottawa (all three members) thought this was worth marking.




Speaking of James Bond, this large, heavily fortified, security camera festooned building with no sign out front is the headquarters of MI6, Britain's secret service.




Sorry for the blurry shot but I didn't want the officers to turn their attention to me as they busied themselves with rousting a homeless man next to Covent Gardens Market. I'm not sure why, given that London does not really seem to have a serious problem with the homeless. I suppose this could be why...
