The central square in Munich, Marienplatz, has a glockenspiel in the 'new' city hall building (you should see the old one) and I figured I should try to get a shot. It didn't turn out very well so I decided to return the next day for a better attempt.




Speaking of the next day, one of the first things we saw when we headed out the next morning was flowers blooming in a park. It didn't seem all that mild to us but then again, it wasn't snowing either.

The glockenspiel in Munich is no ordinary glockenspiel; it's got great figurines that move around and, uh, stuff. It draws a big crowd every day when it plays.
