Nashville may not have been the first place to bring cheerleaders to hockey, but it's certainly not something that most Canadians associate with the game.




The game got off to a rollicking start, with the Predators catching the Red Wings napping in the first period. They've already got Osgood in goal after pulling Conklin for giving up four goals in the first 10 minutes of the game.




Just a few moments later it was 5-0 for the Preds.




The 'Wing Nuts' were remarkably upbeat at the first intermission.




One thing the Predators organization seemed to put a lot of effort into was entertaining videos on the scoreboard during stoppages in play. They cut between live video and preshot parodies, including these old geezers on the Detroit bench and a guy in a Detroit jersey doing the funky chicken in the penalty box moments after the real Detroit player was sent in for a penalty.
