After this I think I went back and had a nap, then went out for dinner. My body was still a bit messed up by the time change so I felt like sleeping and eating at strange times.




The next morning, I headed back to the cable car turntable to ride over to the pier where they sell tickets to Alcatraz. You can get on and off at various stops along the way, including one right outside the hotel, but for 3 dollars (54.20 Cdn) I thought I should make the most of it and go end to end.

Turning the cable car on the turntable is a purely manual affair.




As is pushing it back onto the tracks.
