The next adventure of the day was the boat ride out to Alcatraz.




After getting onboard, I took a few minutes to make fun of my fellow passengers.




I had serious concerns that this cracker-eating gentleman was our captain. Much to my relief, he wasn't.




It turns out this guy was.




The ride over to Alcatraz offered a good, but distant, view of the Golden Gate bridge.
