Looking back across the Thames.




We rounded out the trip to London with dinner at a pub on the waterfront.




The next morning, we found a rat looking miserable on the patio outside the house. It was clearly in distress, unable to move with any modicum of muscle control, and probably the victim of poisoning.




None of us is fond of rats, but its prolonged suffering prompted Evan into merciful action.




Morgan hangs out in the living room with Emma.




We got to enjoy a rare nap together on one of our last days in England.
