[ Snow on Broadway in Nashville ]

Ah, here it comes. The snow is falling on Broadway in Nashville, a place that doesn't get snow too often by the sounds of peoples' reactions to the white stuff. The snow was melting on impact here, and we had no idea yet what effect it would have on our travel plans the next day.

[ At the Palm in Nashville ]

After the game we met up again with Tracie and Mike in the Palm, a fairly toney restaurant across the street from the arena. While we were there several players came in, along with an assistant GM and their video coach.

[ Rental car ]

The next morning we needed to pick up our rental car for the drive to Memphis. Nashville being Nashville, there is nowhere downtown to pick up a car on a Sunday, so we had to go back to the airport to get it.

[ Parthenon in Nashville ]

Our first stop was purely to satisfy our curiosity: We had heard that there was a replica Parthenon in Nashville (which, along with being the "Music City" is also apparently the "Athens of the South") and we had to stop by on the way out of town. It turns out there sure is a Parthenon there, but we're not sure why. It was closed so we got little educational value from our stop over ...

[ James hugs the Parthenon ]

... but I think James was glad we went.
