A nice view through some trees as we worked our way along the trail.




Now we've added some elevation again. Look down into the bottom of the valley. Those rows in the field are the same rows where we'd be standing for the earlier photo.




True, they are small and distant on the horizon, but the skyline of the city peeking through the hills was a welcome sight as we reached hour 3 of the hike!




Some deer were hanging out near the end of the trail that took us back to the starting point. We were pretty proud of our lazy, non-hiking, city-dwelling selves for making it through the hike, although I'm sure it was a mere athletic appetizer for Kajal.
